Dana Stamper Kerns, D.C.
I must admit that when I first started working as an assistant for Dr. W. Michael Spurlock, D.C. in 1999, I was not convinced that chiropractic was really therapeutic. Dr. Spurlock had treated my father for low back pain, my mother for Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome, and my sister for TMJ. The entire family had found tremendous pain relief and was able to return to their activities of daily living with much ease.
After three months of employment at Spurlock Spine Centre I had two car wrecks in less than 36 hours. It was at that time that I fell in love with chiropractic because Dr. Spurlock literally put me back together and helped erase the pain that prescription medicines weren’t touching. Shortly after healing, I decided to enter chiropractic school so that I too could help people with aches and pains that others could not treat. Now, I am extremely excited about coming back home to Spurlock Spine Centre as an associate doctor and being able to have the opportunity to positively impact others and improve their quality of life through chiropractic care.
